Vizio OLED TV
Photo: PhysioVizio’s OLED is among the best TVs you will find for the money. It has excellent gaming performance (up to 120fps in 4K resolution on the latest consoles), and the deep black makes everything from shows to movies look great and lifelike.
If you have a smaller room or are looking for the world’s largest computer screen, check out LG’s great entry-level OLED screen, which has a deep black and amazing features.
Sony’s OLED screens are among the most beautiful televisions money can buy. If you’re a regular viewer in darkrooms, you’ll notice perfect black levels, brilliant colors, and excellent processing that make every movie and TV show you love look better than ever.
AmazonAnd Samsung
If you have an organized space and don’t want your TV to get in the way, Samsung’s frame models are a great option. When you’re not using them to watch TV, you can set ultra-thin TVs to display a variety of popular artwork, allowing the screens to disappear into the background. At this size, it’s perfect for smaller spaces.

Yamaha YAS-209
Photo: YamahaThe YAS-209 is an excellent speaker that sounds great and is easy to use. It has Amazon Alexa voice control on board, so you can play music, check the weather, and even set timers with ease. This price has gone down a few times since August, but it’s cheap as it gets.
AmazonAnd B&H
Polk React (8/10, WIRED Records) is among our favorite audiotapes, thanks to the excellent Amazon Alexa integration. You can use Amazon Voice Assistant to easily set timers or play music. The bar even has standard speakers and a subwoofer available as stand-alone extras, so you can upgrade to full surround sound later.
Vizio’s Atmos speakers go far above their price tag when it comes to sound quality. It’s a small 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos system, but it has a dedicated subwoofer and rear surround that gives you fully immersive sound. You’ll love it to enjoy a theater-like experience at home. It has fallen in price since October, when it was at $550.
This is a big deal on a great surround sound system from Vizio. You get dedicated wireless surround speakers and a dedicated wireless subwoofer, as well as Dolby 5.1 support. It’s cheaper than most bars without surround speakers, and it sounds better, too.
Roku Streambar

Roku’s Streambar is a great combination of small speakers and a streaming device with an onboard Roku operating system, making it the perfect addition to smaller and older TVs.

If you don’t have the space for a full surround sound system with dedicated speakers and a subwoofer, this amplifier will bounce sound around your room to simulate the full Dolby Atmos experience.
Samsung’s speaker/subwoofer combo options are often a little overpriced compared to the competition from Vizio and others. On Black Friday, that’s not true, thanks to this solid deal on a wireless subwoofer and tape that features support for DTS:X and Dolby 5.1.

Roku Streaming Stick Plus
Photo: RoccoIf you want to watch your favorite shows and movies on a big screen, this streaming stick is a great choice. It’s the latest version of Roku, with HDR and Dolby Vision support. There’s also this older model for $40 ($20 off) that comes with a built-in headphone jack, so you can listen using any 3.5mm connected cans. (A pair of earphones is also included.)
bed bath behindAnd Adorama
We like this dongle (8/10, WIRED recommends) because it can help you easily access almost all streaming apps. There’s also Google Assistant built in for easy voice search, and you can still cast from your phone as with older Chromecast dongles.
targetingAnd Amazon
If you love the Amazon ecosystem, this is a good deal on a good streaming stick. The Fire Stick 4K’s interface isn’t as smooth as Google or Roku’s, but it’s still pretty decent, and if you’re using Alexa elsewhere in your home, that makes this a good choice.
Hulu has become one of our favorite streaming services, with a huge library of popular shows (including many of the shows I’ve picked up that were on Netflix), as well as live TV shows. The current deal for a full year of ad-supported Hulu for $12 is available to both new and returning subscribers.
